LYNC 2.0
Welcome to the new LYNC.
Seven years ago, LYNC launched with a simple idea – “We’re Better Together.” Over the years LYNC encouraged local youth network development, county-wide events, and youth leader training.
As we approach 2009, several local youth ministry initiatives are taking this vision to the next level. Lancaster Bible College’s Project Renovation, Youth Ministry Innovations, Pennsylvania Christian Endeavor, and others are serving youth ministry leaders with a variety of opportunities and resources designed to make youth ministry more effective.
The vision of LYNC is now returning to that simple, first idea. Starting in January, LYNC will re-focus it’s efforts and energy to networking youth leaders. It’s mission will be to connect youth ministry leaders throughout Lancaster County by encouraging and promoting local networks and connecting these networks to resources and opportunities.
A Simple Strategy: One Idea / 3 Goals
- Goal # 1: Become the networking hub for youth ministry leaders and resources in Lancaster County.
- Goal # 2: Encourage and Promote local youth leader networks throughout Lancaster County.
- Goal # 3: Connect & Coordinate leaders of local and regional youth ministry resource organizations.
Getting Started: Connecting
- Project # 1: Revise, update, and consolidate a network directory of Lancaster County youth ministries and youth ministry leaders.
- Project # 2: Identify and connect with local youth ministry network leaders and coordinate communication and support.
- Project # 3: Bring leaders of local and regional youth ministry resource organizations and initiatives together to coordinate efforts.
Getting Involved: Get Together
- Are you a youth leader in Lancaster County? Join the network and stay connected.
- Are you a local youth ministry network leader? Help us connect leaders to one another in every community of Lancaster County.
- Are you leading local or regional efforts to strengthen youth ministries? Let’s share our vision and coordinate our efforts.
Look for details in the coming weeks. If you have questions or feedback, please contact us.
We’re better together.
